Donald
J. Harrell was born in
Wichita, Kansas in 1948. He is admitted to both the Pennsylvania
and Florida Bars and has been practicing primarily in the areas of commercial,
corporate, tax, and securities law since 1978. He also had 8 years
of prior experience practicing as a Certified Public Accountant. Don is also admitted
to the United States Tax Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle
District of Florida and the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
He received his B.A. from Westminster College in 1970, his C.P.A. from
Pennsylvania in 1973, and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of
Law in 1978. Don was with the national firm of Reed, Smith, Shaw
& McClay in Pittsburgh for several years. Don was a principal
in the law firm of Syprett, Meshad, Resnick & Lieb, P.A. prior to
co-founding this firm. Don is a member of the American, Florida
and Sarasota County Bar Associations. Don focuses his practice in
the areas of commercial, business organizations,
securities and tax law, estate and probate, and real estate law.
Don is a principal and co-founder of the firm.
